MIDCOAST — Oshima Brothers just released a new song, “Lost at Sea,” and music video that features the brothers immersed in Maine’s 54-degree ocean water. The brothers say “spending time by the ocean puts things into perspective and reminds us what’s important.” The video, which the band filmed in September, is a visual representation of a love song drenched in oceanic imagery and vast loneliness.

Sean and Jamie Oshima were born and raised in Maine, and now live together in Belfast. Though they’ve been playing music their entire lives, they only began touring the country performing as Oshima Brothers in the past few years. They recently reached one million streams on Spotify for their song "These Cold Nights" and their Spotify account has been hovering around 95,000 monthly listeners. In addition to writing, recording and producing their own music, they also make their own music videos. They’re so excited for people to listen to the new single, "Lost at Sea," and see the video. They’ve been on NPR’s heavy rotation, Maine 207 TV, and Spotify’s Wild + Free and Folk Pop playlists. They’ve played Philadelphia Folk Fest and Lake Eden Arts Festival and concerts up and down the eastern seaboard.

You can watch the new “Lost at Sea” music video on the Oshima Brothers YouTube channel, or listen to their single wherever you stream music.
