Hello, Palermo Community!

The Palermo Community Library held a curbside chili drive up on Saturday, Nov. 14, that was a great success. Eighty chili meals (including cornmeal muffin, chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of water) were sold. Thank you to all who supported the library!

Watch for either another drive-up event and the Soup and Pie Social next April.

The library thanks Lori’s Cafe, Renys and Hannaford for their support. And, of course, thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible — chili makers, cornmeal muffin makers, cookie makers, and set-up and clean-up crews.

This column needs your news! Of course there is less going on these days with the coronavirus still around, but we're still having births, birthdays and anniversaries! Please call or email me!

Hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving!
