3-day course for sustainable school gardens, designed for teachers, parent volunteers, and community members. You will receive hands-on experience in creating a thriving school garden of perennial fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Course instructors will offer curriculum connections aligned with national standards and they'll explain the benefits of gardening for children’s health, behavior, and academic achievement.  Participants will leave with lesson plans ready to use in your classrooms!

Cost: $350 for 3 days, including lunch and dinner prepared from Newforest's garden.  Overnight accommodations available; call Lisa at Newforest for full details.

3 CEU credits will be awarded for the course.
