Phish film enjoys one-night-only at Colonial

Jul 08, 2019

BELFAST — The Colonial Theatre, 163 High St., is proud to host a one-night-only screening of “Between Me and My Mind” on Wednesday, July 17, at 8 p.m. The documentary follows Phish guitarist and front man Trey Anastasio during preparations for his “Ghosts of the Forest” album and the band’s “Soul Planet” New Year’s Eve event.

This film makes its national theatrical debut by showing simultaneously live in 400 theaters across the United States, and The Colonial Theatre is the only theater north of Portland participating in this cinematic event. The Steven Cantor-directed film recently premiered at the Beacon Theatre in New York City as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

“We’re so thrilled to have the chance to share Trey Anastasio’s constantly inspiring warmth and creativity through our film ‘Between Me and My Mind,’” said producer Jamie Schutz. “The response at the Tribeca Film Festival was exhilarating and now, along with Trafalgar Releasing, we’re able to bring that excitement to an even larger audience, on the big screen all across North America this July.”

Tickets are $12 and available at the Colonial Theatre or online at EventBrite. For more information, email info@colonialtheatre.com or call 338-1975.

The Arts & Entertainment deadline is Thursdays at 5 p.m. for events dated on/between the following two Thursdays. Please email press releases/photos to A&E Editor Christine Dunkle at arts@villagesoup.com.
