Pints for Paws in Belfast

Belfast — Loyal Biscuit Co. and Rollie's Bar & Grill are teaming up for Pints for Paws, a social for animal lovers for the benefit of animals. The fun fund-raiser for the P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center will take place Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rollies, 37 Main St.

The evening will feature entertainment by Midcoast musician Paddy Mills, raffle prizes, giveaways and more. For every pint of beer sold, Rollie's will donate $1 to P.A.W.S. Raffle prizes include gift baskets for both people and pets; Boatyard Dog T-shirts from Maine Boats; Homes and Harbors, gift certificates for both people and pet grooming, dog walks, computer labor, clothing for both people and pets, fine art works, power tools, Colonial Theatre passes and more.

People of all ages are welcome and are asked to bring an item to donate to the shelter; suggested are  canned dog or cat food, paper towels, gallons of bleach, old towels or blankets, etc. Due to the location, pets are not allowed.
