Poets find their way home for coffee shop reading

UNITY — Carolyn Locke and Kathleen Quinlan read their poetry at 93 Main Coffee Shop on Wednesday, July 31, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in an event entitled, "Finding Our Way Home." Light refreshments will be served, and books will be available for purchase and signing.

Locke was a Mount View High School teacher for many years. She is the author of four books: "Always This Falling," "Not One Thing: Following Matsuo Basho’s Narrow Road to the Interior," "The Place We Become" and "The Riddle of Yes," which was released in June 2019. A 1986 Mount View High School graduate, Quinlan is the author of two poetry collections, "From We to I" and "Moorings," and is the editor of the poetry anthology "How Higher Education Feels: Commentaries on Poems that Illuminate Emotions in Learning and Teaching."
