Thorndike — For a regular-season finale that featured winless squads, the Mount View football team sure gave its loyal fans — and eight seniors — a memorable send off in its home game on Friday night, Oct. 25 against Washington Academy of East Machias under the lights.

The Mustangs scored early and often — very, very often — as the hosts trampled the Raiders with a lopsided 55-0 high school victory.

In fact, in Friday’s finale, the Mustangs scored more points (55) than they did in their previous seven games combined (52).

Moulton then connected with Mark Ward on a 63-yard touchdown catch and Smith a 60-yard TD catch before Lepore rushed for a one-yard score. Ingraham then booted an extra point as the ‘Stangs took a 33-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Brown hauled in a 60-yard touchdown pass, while Inman rushed for a 51-yard touchdown.
