Town Reports will be made available three days before the Town Meeting. So expect them for Wednesday the 27th of March. We are still working very hard on the 2018 report; please be patient.

Town voting will take place in the Town Office Friday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. We are voting for one selectman and one road commissioner. The following day will be town meeting on March 30 at 9 a.m. in the Fire House. The Mining Ordinance will be voted on at this meeting.

We are currently seeking two Appeals Board members. This is a volunteer position that meets only once a year. For more information, please contact the Town Office at 567-3661.

Prospect Community Club is offering one $500 “Raymond Webster Scholarship” to further education for a graduating Prospect senior. Applications are available at the guidance office at Bucksport High School and are due back before May 1.

Terry Carson of Prospect is currently selling 14.5 acres of blueberry fields on Route 1A in Stockton Springs. His asking price is $65,000. For more details or to make an offer, call 322-4956 or email him at marlin95@aol.com.

April dates for upcoming selectmen meetings are currently Tuesdays, April 2 and 16, at 7 p.m. Planning Board will meet Monday, April 11, at 7 p.m.

The annual Spring Cleanup will take place Saturday, June 1.. For a list of acceptable waste, please go to our website, prospectmaine.org, and hover over calendar then click on the Recycling & Trash Pickup tab. The trash packet pdf has a list of all acceptable and unacceptable waste. Paper copies are available at the Town Office.
