Public Transportation Meetings in Rockland on April 8th and in Belfast on April 9th

Waldo Community Action Partners (WCAP) will be holding two public meetings during the month of April, 2019 to provide an overview of current activities, as well as to hear suggestions and ideas from the public, regarding the organization’s transportation programs, Mid-Coast Connector MaineCare NET Brokerage and Mid-Coast Public Transportation.




The meetings will be held in the following locations:

  • Rockland Public Library (Community Room), 80 Union St, Rockland, ME 04841: Monday, April 8th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
  • Waldo County Technical Center, 1022 Waterville Rd. Waldo, ME 04915 (Rt. 137): Tuesday, April 9th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Topics of the meetings will include:

  • General overview of transportation programs.
  • Current transportation services update.
  • Current pilot programs and test routes update, including DASH and Coastal Connector.
  • Advisory Committee structure update.
  • Strategic priorities.
  • Comments, suggestions and ideas from the public.

All members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in the meetings.
