The North Searsport United Methodist Church is celebrating 200 years in Ministry. Each month, the church will be holding a special event. On Sunday, April 27, 2014 the Church will have a "Step Back in Time" program. At 12:30 there will be a pot luck lunch in the Christian Center. At 1:30 there will be a program in the church. Join us and hear the stories that make up the history of our church. Keep an eye out the window for Circuit Rider Jesse Lee, who will arrive by horse drawn carriage with his well-worn bible, Hymnal and Discipline. He will be traveling from the historic North Searsport Methodist Episcopal Church parsonage just down the road apiece on Mt. Ephriam Road. Wear your prettiest bonnet or most dashing cap! Please join us. All are welcome.

Coastal Coffee has changed hands. Ken and Karen would like to take this opportunity to thank all their "cheerleaders", "volunteers of the month", and supporters during the last 5 years. They have formed many friendships during that time with guests from near and far. Ken and Karen invite you to welcome Patrick and Celine Kelley, Owners of the new "Coastal Cafe and Bakery", to our community. Patrick and Celine are a lovely young couple, full of energy and drive and they are aiming for an end of April opening. Ken and Karen invite you all to welcome them to our community. We'll be there and hope you will too. Thank you all for a great 5 years...K & K
