Registration Still Open for University Summer Session II Courses Starting July 6

Registration for over 50 University courses which run in 7-week Summer Session II is still open at UMA Rockland.  Courses will meet through distance education modalities from July 6 until August 22.

Subject areas include anthropology, aviation, accounting, computing, English, history, human services, information security, justice studies, math, music and psychology.

According to Rockland Director, Deborah Meehan, "This is an excellent time for students home for the summer from other colleges, or high school students wanting to earn college credits, to earn 3 credits or more over the second half of summer.

UMA is the leading distance education institution in Maine and was recognized by US News and World Report as one of the "best online programs" in 2020.

Free academic advising appointments with UMA Rockland professional staff are available via web conferencing or by phone to help students choose summer and fall courses.  Contact them at 596-6906 or at umarockland@maine.edu and a staff member will get right back to you.
