Sep 09, 2019

Winterport — Rep. Scott Cuddy, D-Winterport, will lead a discussion of property tax relief Thursday, Sept. 12, 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Crooked Steeple Hall, 176 Main Road. He will cover the Legislature’s efforts to decrease property taxes and will take questions, comments and suggestions from the public.

“Our recently enacted state budget provides important property tax relief for our community, and I look forward to sharing those updates with the public,” Cuddy said.

“Still, property taxes are a huge weight on so many families, and we need to push for even further reductions. This will continue to be a priority for me in the Legislature, and I will take all of my constituent concerns and ideas to the State House.”

Cuddy is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives and is a member of the Legislature’s Labor and Housing Committee. He represents House District 98, which includes Frankfort, Searsport, Swanville and Winterport.
