LINCOLNVILLE — Selectmen presented the dedication in the 2020 Annual Report to Rosendel "Rosey" Gerry July 9, in honor of all he has done and continues to do for the town and community.

Chairman Ladleah Dunn presented Gerry with the Town of Lincolnville Report at an open house for a park on Penobscot Bay, which could become a town park if voters so choose in the July 14 election. In thanking Gerry for his service to the town, Dunn mentioned how he has served as a role model and mentor for others and all he does, including what he does not get credit for.

Town Administrator David Kinney said selectmen decided they would all be present at the open house and that the event would serve double duty.

The town report dedication is a longstanding tradition. Gerry's dedication reads, "To say that Rosey is a man of many hats would be so true both literally and figuratively. How he was able to fit in serving 10 years on the Board of Selectmen among the many other interests of his life was truly amazing.

"We are especially grateful for his dedication to our community. The town of Lincolnville is a better place for all to live due to his tireless efforts."  In single words, titles and names of events Gerry leads, the dedication page names many of the things for which he is known:

Earthwork Contractor      Tree Warden

Notary Public     Auto Enthusiast

Millerite Cliffs     3 Weeks & 31 Flats
