RSU 3 schools open Tuesday, Wednesday to collect learning materials

Unity — Regional School Unit 3 Superintendent Charles Brown sent an email update Monday afternoon outlining procedures to pick up materials, laptops and personal belongings left at school

According to Brown, schools will be open Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. to retrieve learning materials, grades. 6-12 laptops, medications, and any personal belongings that were left behind..

Teachers have assembled packets of learning materials for all students in the district he said, and the material is available at each school as noted above. "If you have questions about learning materials, please contact your child’s teacher(s) directly via email," Brown said.

School meals will also be provided, according to Brown. Starting March 19, free meals (breakfast and lunch) will be delivered to any student and any child 18 and under. To have a meal delivered contact the central office at 948-6136.

Bagged meals will also be available at each school from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except at Unity Elementary where meals are available from 10 a.m. to noon.

These meals will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Brown said. "If you are unable to get to a pick-up site, please contact your child’s school or school nutrition program at 568-4607 and we will do our best to assist you."
