Belfast — Families can get ready to greet Santa as he arrives by boat at the Belfast Harbor Landing at the foot of Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 8, at approximately 11:15 a.m. and rides in a horse-drawn carriage to Belfast Boathouse for a few hours of photos, fun and activities.

As in years past, Santa will sit with children for pictures and to hear their Christmas wishes. Parents, bring your cameras to capture these special moments!

In addition, children will be able to create Christmas ornaments and decorate cookies for themselves and their families. Games and activities will be available, especially for the younger children attending. Just Jumpin’s Kyle Edgerly will create balloon animals again this year, and carolers from Little River Church will set a festive holiday mood for everyone.

Festivities at the Boathouse will continue until 1:30 p.m.

This free event is sponsored by the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce, Belfast Parks & Recreation Department and Cornerspring Montessori School.
