Lite Lunch at the Searsmont Town Library

The Searsmont Historical Society and the Searsmont Town Library have been teaming up to offer lite lunch for seniors at the library on the last Friday of each month. Our next luncheon is on Friday, April 26th, at 12:15 p.m.

We’ll be serving Shepherd’s pie, salad, biscuits, fresh fruit and something sweet for dessert. Lunch will be served in the upstairs lobby of the Searsmont Community Center. Coffee will be served in the library following lunch with Celtic harp music by local harpist Amy Kercsmar.

Please RSVP to me by calling 342-2538, and leave a message so that we have an idea of how many people plan to attend. (You can also sign up at the library.) If you need transportation to and from the library, let us know and we will do our best to arrange transport.

Searsmont Town Library

The next two weeks at Searsmont Town Library are vibrating with sonic waves from talented and entertaining live music shows. On Friday, April 26th, at 1:30 p.m. we are fortunate to be graced with the Celtic harp music made by Amy Kercsmar (harpforallseasons.com), and on Thursday, May 2nd, at 7 p.m. we welcome The Oystermen - a trio of rollicking traditional Maritime musicians. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Regular programs continue with Tuesday Matinees at 2 p.m., Thursday Board Games at 4 p.m., and Saturday mornings with The Muppet Show at 10 a.m.
