Fourth of July

The boat races will take place at the Town Wharf starting at 8 a.m. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and the First Methodist Church will hold their auction in the morning. I don't have the time yet. They are also looking for items to be sold. The Lions Club will have their Chicken BBQ in the Masons' lot as they have in past years. The fireworks will be that night around 9 p.m. Rain date for that is Saturday, July 8. Searsport Motor Co. (Chris Colby and family) will sponsor the fireworks again this year. We wish to thank them for stepping up and doing this.

Feel free to pass this on to interested people.
