By Staff | May 06, 2019

Searsport — The Searsport Pines Golf Club opened for the season on Saturday, May 4.

The course is open to golfers, walking only for now. As soon as the grounds are ready for riding carts they will be allowed on the course.

The spring rates are $15 for nine holes and $25 for 18 holes. Cart fees will be $9 per person for nine holes and $11 per person for 18 holes. Tuesdays will feature the special rate of $20 for nine holes with a cart and $30 for 18 holes with a cart.

The driving range opened on May 1s.

There is a bonus 10-play pass (11 nine-hole plays on the card) available for purchase until Wednesday, May 15 for $150. It is transferable and good for the season. After that date, the regular 10-play pass will be in effect.

Searsport Pines is a member of the North Atlantic Golf Association. Members of Searsport Pines can play at numerous area courses for free (no greens fees), twice at each course during the year. Cart rental is required.

Memberships, merchandise, range ball passes, 10-play passes and gift certificates are available at the pro shop. Memberships include unlimited golf, discounted cart rates and discount on pro shop merchandise; plus the free golf at other member courses.

Any member who refers a new member to Searsport Pines for 2019, saves $150 on their own membership fee.

Early spring daily hours of the pro shop are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
