Select Board chair runs for reelection

By Sarah E. Reynolds | Apr 15, 2021

Islesboro — According to the Islesboro Town Office, three candidates will be running unopposed in the June 22 municipal election. Chairman Gabe Pendleton, whose term on the Select Board is expiring, is running for reelection, and Melissa Jagger and Julianna Reidy are running for two vacancies on the school board. The three were the only candidates who turned in nomination papers by the April 14 deadline.

The town will conduct all its annual business by referendum ballot June 22, in lieu of a town meeting.
