Audio begins on July 01, 2014 at 2:00 pm EDT.

If you’ve ever asked yourself that question, this chat is for you. It’s helpful to understand how each of us can grow spiritually because spiritual growth is a key ingredient of being able to do quick, consistent, and effective spiritual healing.

Mary Baker Eddy tells us in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures that “the great point of departure for all true spiritual growth” is to “rid ourselves of the belief that man is separated from God, and obey only the divine Principle, Life and Love” (p. 91). So, as we begin to accept that we are always at one with God, and learn more how to live in accord with God’s direction at all times, we will inevitably become more spiritually minded and become better healers.

To explore this further, bring your questions to the chat with Christian Science practitioner and teacher Barbara Pettis from the Boston, Massachusetts area.

About Barbara Pettis: Barbara has devoted herself for many years to the practice and teaching of Christian Science. She was previously involved with public schools and worked as a writer and editor. She has lived in Asia, in Europe, and in many parts of the United States. She currently lives and teaches in the Boston area.
