Camp Forest is honored to have Bella, a Shipibo indian from the Peruvian Amazon, on the staff.  For the first time she is planning to teach an important art of Peru.

The Shipibo Indians of Peru are well known for their intricate patterns which tell tribal stories. These patterns and tribal art icons are painted and embroidered. Bella will demonstrate the embroidery techniques and patterns to help you  get started.

This one day workshop on July 26th will introduce you to the techniques and art form.

THINGS TO BRING: Please bring embroidery floss, needles, cotton fabric, scissors, water bottle, lunch, snacks, insect repellant and dress appropriately for the weather.
