Chemical Pioneer, a 662-foot chemical tanker, arrived at Mack Point from Wilmington, N.C. and delivered caustic soda. It departed Oct. 3, destination unknown. The tanker was last in Searsport Aug. 20, and has since traveled to Carteret, N.J.; Lewes, Del.; Philadelphia; Charleston, S.C.; Freeport and Texas City (Galveston/Houston), Texas; and Lake Charles, La.
