Carver Memorial Library's Writers' Series opens with an evening with Sisters in Crime: Using What You Know (Or What You’d Like to Know) to Write a Mystery.

Been a housewife? A domestic worker? Single parent? Lived in a creepy old house? You might think your life's been boring--but exciting plots are buried in your own expertise. Find the clues to the novel only you can write.


Vicki Doudera – Award winning author (Suspense Magazine Best Reads 2010 & 2013) of The Darby Farr Mysteries, page-turners grounded in the world of luxury real estate. Vicki also publishes nonfiction, including the best selling Moving to Maine.

Barbara Ross Author of Maine Clambake Mysteries published by Kensington and nominated for a 2013 Agatha Award. Barbara is also a co-editor-publisher of Level Best Books.
