St. John's Church in Thomaston announces Holy Week Services

The Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist will have a reading of the passion narrative from the gospel of St. Luke during the two services on Palm Sunday at 8 am and 10 am.. April 14.

 

On Maundy Thursday, April 18, there will be a covered dish or bring something to share dinner at 5 pm with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 7 pm with a stripping of the altar.

On Good Friday, April 19th there will be the Good Friday Liturgy at 12 noon

and also the Stations of the Cross at 6 pm

On Holy Saturday, April 20th there will be the celebration of the Easter Vigil at Nativity Lutheran Church at 7:45 pm.  This is a community service.

On Easter, April 21, there will be the town of Thomaston sunrise service at the Weymouth Cross at 6 am followed by a breakfast at the Thomaston Baptist Church

at 8am there will be a celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Rite I

and at 10 am there will be the Festival Eucharist with Choir and egg hunt afterwards.
