Swanville Republicans will Caucus

Waldo County Republicans has called a Convention for the purpose of town caucuses, 10 a.m., Saturday, February 22.  This allows candidates to speak in person to all the towns in the County in one meeting.  Registrars from each town will be available from 9 - 10 a.m., to enroll those unaffiliated with a party, if you wish to join.  Convention starts at 10 a.m. promptly, and all registered Republicans are invited to attend, and participate in their town's election of officers and voting for candidates in their districts.  Swanville will choose 7 delegates to the State Republican Convention, coming up in April.  Swanville is now House District #98, and James Gillway is running for the House seat.  Senate District #11 is up, and Senator Mike Thibodeau will run again.  Both will be available to answer questions.  There are two Republican candidates running for the 2nd Congressional District seat, Bruce Poloquin, and Kevin Raye.  A room will be set aside for all the candidates to pass out information and for further conversation.  It is time to get involved and know who you are voting for personally.  Stop the disconnect in D.C..  Pay the price and give your time and attention to see that our government is by us, and not by a bunch of organized criminals.  The biggest lie going around this party right now is that local folks don't have any power to change things.  But you do.  If you stop voting for the scumbag with name recognition, get involved, and start voting for the guy you can trust with your dying mother.
