Sebasticook Regional Land Trust's Monthly Speaker Series, Restoring Connections to Place, at 93 Main Coffee Shop, Unity, continues this year with Greg LeClair, a senior from Unity College’s wildlife biology program, discussing the wood turtle, a beautiful, medium-sized turtle whose population appears to be declining throughout its northeastern U.S. range. Is it endangered? Since 2015, Unity College students and professors have been tackling this question. LeClair will review our local turtle population and take a look at the future of wood turtles.

SRLT programs in this series are open to the public. A $5 donation is suggested. Programs take place on the second Wednesday of every month 93 Main St., Unity. FMI, email  info@sebasticookrlt.org or call 948-3766.
