Lincolnville Community Library, 208 Main St. Maine Master Naturalist and retired teacher Cyrene Slegona presents a free, illustrated talk on the butterflies she first learned to observe with her father on their Lincolnville farm. The Monarch is a well-known, beloved summer resident of Maine, laying its eggs on milkweed plants. Slegona will discuss butterfly anatomy, life cycle, predation, diseases and international protection efforts. FMI: questions@lincolnvillelibrary.org or 706-3896.
