In "Newport to Nashville: Bob Dylan’s Anno Mirabilis," musicologist Richard Brown will talk about the remarkable year, from March 1965 through May 1966, that Nobel Laureate Bob Dylan underwent an extraordinary period of frenzied creation. His first three ‘electric’ albums, "Bringing It All Back Home," "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blond on Blond," were unprecedented and arguably his greatest poetic achievement. It was also a time of almost constant touring and personal turmoil. Old Professor’s Bookshop, 99 Maine St., Belfast. Free. FMI: 338-2006.
