Talk on Newfoundland hike at Lincolnville Library

Lincolnville Center — Tom Jamrog will give an illustrated talk on his recent hike of Newfoundland’s East Coast Trail Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Lincolnville Community Library.

Jamrog spent two weeks this past August hiking the trail, which covers more than 180 miles along the Newfoundland coast. He will tell about the adventure and share his photos of the spectacular scenery.

Jamrog, who lives in Lincolnville, has hiked and backpacked thousands of miles in and out of the United States. In 2014 he won the Triple Crown of Hiking Award for completing continuous through hikes of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide trails.
