Winterport — Winterport Open Stage will open “The Ladies Foursome” by Norm Foster, a funny, fast-paced, heartwarming story and joyful celebration of four women, Friday night, April 20, for a two-weekend run at the Samuel L. Wagner Middle School, Mountainview Drive.

The show, directed by James Tatgenhorst and starring S. Harris Hall, Doreen Moody, Cassy Palmer and Kathryn Ravenscraft, will run Fridays and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. through April 29.

Margot, Tate and Connie have just lost their friend Cathy, with whom they had been playing golf for 14 years. They decide to play a round of golf in her honor and Dory, who owns a lodge a couple hours away and who had gotten to know Cathy because of her visits to the lodge, joins them. During the 18 holes, revelations about Cathy, and all the other characters, as well, slowly emerge to make for a very entertaining, thought-provoking show.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will be sold at the door.
