The Press Box: Camden Hills girls soccer seniors interview
The past four years for the seniors of the Camden Hills girls soccer team culminated in three state Class A championships and four straight Class A North final appearances, with three victories.
This fall, the eight seniors helped the Windjammers to their second consecutive undefeated season (19-0), which saw Camden Hills outscore opponents 119-10, with 14 shutouts, as the Windjammers went on to beat Scarborough, for the second straight season in the state Class A championship game, 1-0, after they had defeated the Red Storm 3-2 the previous season.
Camden Hills is 50-0-1 in its last 51 matches, with the team's last loss on Sept. 20, 2016 to Bangor.
Courier Publications/VillageSoup sat down with seven of the eight seniors to discuss their careers, and the profound success they experienced.
