Thorndike column

By Linda Dixon

Notice to all that contribute to the town columns: We have a new deadline, so all items for insertion into the next edition of The Republican Journal must be in my hands by Thursday evening or they will not make the next week's edition.

The Open Door lunches will be served at the Unity Community Center the week of September 25th thru the 29th, between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. All are welcome.

Thank you, Seth, for the Labor Day lobsters. They were really enjoyed by all who attended the family gathering. Love ya', Seth.

The boys are having a good time getting ready for hunting season. I enjoy having them around more than usual this time of year.

Grayson Austin Jae Grant has arrived, a bit early, but he weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces. Congratulations, Tanner and Logan. I can not wait to get my hands on him!

Do not forget the Common Ground Fair will be here before we know it, September 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

Drake was quoted as saying,"No matter how dirty your past is, your future is still spotless."

Do not forget the new deadline for the town columns. Have a great week and enjoy the harvest.
