I have about had it with this numbing cold. I am so ready for spring, but we have a blizzard to get through first.

A very happy belated birthday to Clyde Rolerson. I hope you had a great day.

Sincere sympathy is being sent to the family and friends of Tammy Leeman Shaw. She was a terrific woman and will be lovingly missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Tammy.

There will be a benefit potluck dinner, Chinese auction and a 50-50 raffle at Mount View High School on Saturday, January 20, beginning at 5 p.m. to benefit Rebecca Bryant, as she lost everything to a fire at her home. The dinner will be by donation. Help is needed for the dinner as well as food for the dinner and items for the auction. Please contact Karen York @ 382-3077 if you can help in any way. The auction will immediately follow the supper.

Stay safe and warm during the cold weather and only leave home if you have to.

Carl Sandburg was once quoted as saying, "If the law is on your side, pound on the law. If the facts are on your side, pound on the facts. If neither are on your side, pound on the table."

Have a great week and call me with your news items by Thursday noon of each week.
