What a roller coaster ride we have had in the weather department! It is good to get a warm-up after all that frigid weather. Like they say, if you do not like the weather, wait a minute.

The Brooks Ladies Fellowship will be having their annual fundraising craft/antique fair on June 2, 2018, from 8 am to 3 pm. If you have "old" items in your barn or garage that you think are antiques, or if you make crafts, jewelry, soaps, etc., we would like to invite you to have a table at our event. Inside tables are $10.00, limit 2 per vendor, and outside spaces, 10' by 10,' are $25.00, limit 2 spaces per vendor.F or more information and registration, please contact Karen at 722-3056. The deadline is April 30th, 2018 or when capacity is reached. Registration and payment are required to hold a space.

Remember the benefit at Mount View, on Saturday, January 20th, to aid Rebecca Bryant in getting back on her feet after she lost everything to a fire at her home. If you would like to volunteer for anything at this event, please call Karen York at 382-3077.

Since open season on crows is fast approaching, I would like to know what the best bait would be to lure them in. Give me a call at 568-3411 if you have a tried and true crow bait lure.

Roger Staubach is quoted as once saying, "There are no traffic jams along the extra mile."

Remember to get your news items to me by Thursday of each week.
