The fiddleheads were scrumptious. It also gave me extra exercise while picking them.

On Saturday, May 19th, the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association will be holding a chicken barbecue, 11:30 am to 1 pm at Freedom Field and Freedom Church. There will also be a silent auction and a quilt raffle. The barbecue dinner will include chicken, salads, roll, dessert and a drink, all for $8.00 per plate. Come and support the Cemetery Association.

Remember to get your trash curbside one hour earlier, 6 am, until further notice.

Papa Dixon was a recent visitor of Dustin Tibbetts. Alan was also a regular visitor last week.

I recently saw Rosemary Gerren out and about and is recuperating nicely from her open heart surgery.

I had a message from one of my cousins,Teresa, that she will be in town for the chicken barbecue on the 19th, and would love to get together. I am planning on that.

Abraham Lincoln was once quoted as saying, "I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday."

Have a great week and hopefully warmer weather.
