Condolences are being sent to friends and family of Gloria Perkins Gomm. She will be missed.

Condolences are also being sent to friends and family of Gene McKenney. He and his family were residents of East Thorndike many years ago and he attended Uni-Free High School, along with his siblings. Rest in peace, Gene.

Thanks to Chris, Max, Merrily and Lori for mowing, repairing water hose and delivering papers last week. Everything that you folks do does not go unappreciated. Thanks again.

The town of Thorndike will hold a referendum hearing at the Town Office on Tuesday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m. on Article 39, Salt and Sand Shed. Social distancing and number of people in the building at one time will be strictly observed. There will be a referendum vote at the Thorndike Town Office on Tuesday, July 21, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., on borrowing $400,000 to build the salt and sand shed. This will be an important vote, so please try to attend the hearing as well as the voting.

I have been enjoying all the sunny weather and sitting in the gazebo. Dustin sits in there often and entertains his company in there.
