My sincere condolences are being sent to the family and friends of Patty Banker. Many will miss her great smile. Rest in peace, Patty.

The Thorndike Town Office will have two boxes for donations. One will be for new, unwrapped toys only. The second box will accept any items that children might need, as long as they are clean and serviceable. This can include toys and any clothing, especially hats, coats and gloves.

Do not forget to license your dog by the end of December.

The Thorndike Town Office is looking for volunteers to decorate the Town Office for the holidays. If you are interested, please give them a call at 568-3655.

It will be a very quiet Thanksgiving here, with Dustin and me sharing the feast that I will prepare, using the menu that he creates. It could be interesting.

Douglas Adams is quoted as saying, "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."

Have a grateful Thanksgiving and stay healthy and safe.
