A big hello to Tyler Hadyniak as Freedom's new town correspondent. Welcome aboard!

Have any of you been reading Tom Groening's columns in the Working Waterfront paper? He writes some very interesting columns. Every time I get one of those papers, I look for his column first. Give it a try.

We certainly had some very pleasant weather recently. One day it reached 85 degrees in the gazebo. Chris and Lisa stopped in for a visit in the gazebo, before it got that warm in there. It certainly does feel good.

I have already been poking around in the rhubarb and the asparagus beds. I keep hoping to see a bit of green. I am anxious because I could not even get out there last year.

Happy birthday to Tanner. I hope you have a great day.

The Thorndike town meeting is still tentatively planned for April 17, at the Thorndike Fire House. Call the Town Office if you want more information on their safety plans.

Anyone contemplating running for an office in Thorndike? There are several positions nominated on the floor. Give it some serious thought. If you are interested in being Town Clerk, I believe there are applications at the Town Office.

Poet Charles Simic is quoted as saying, "He who cannot howl will not find his pack."

Have a great week and do not forget to be on the lookout for the Easter Bunny!
