I hope everyone has a great Easter and that the Easter Bunny is good to you.

Condolences are being sent to Amber Hamblett and family upon the passing of her dad, Larry McKeen. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

On Saturday, May 4, there will be a sale hosted by Thorndike Mill and Meeting Place at the old Farwell Store in Thorndike village. The sale will start at 9 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. There will be plants, antiques, household, books, etc., to benefit the Farwell Project. While spring cleaning, consider donating items to this community project and drop off your items at The Mill on April 27 and 28 or contact The Mill, 568-1213, to arrange for pickup. Please, no clothing or plastic items.

Unity Pre-K is still accepting applications for their fall program for 3- and 4-year-olds. Please call 338-3827 and ask for Lori to complete a Head Start application.

I received a hot air fryer for my birthday, thank you, Lori. I am looking forward to cooking with it. If anyone has any great recipes for the hot air fryer, please share them.

Thank you to Lisa, Chris and my sister Terrie for a fun-filled time in Bangor and a great dinner.

A big thank you to all my Facebook friends for the many birthday wishes. They made my day even more enjoyable.

Will Rogers is quoted as saying, "The only difference between death and taxes is that death doesn't get worse every time Congress meets."

Please get your Easter news to me by Thursday evening

Have a great week and get started on spring cleanup, while enjoying the great outdoors.
