I am not very excited about the upcoming weather. Personally, I can do without any more snow. I have been mowing, putting mulch around the flowers, doing some painting of outdoor things and generally getting ready for warm weather, not snow.

Dustin would like everyone to give a listen to Country Gold with Terry Clark on 93.5 F.M., Saturday nights beginning at 6 p.m. She always features a country artist and last week it was Loretta Lynn. He and many of his friends really like it and he wants everyone to give it a try. Let us know what you think.

What is everyone doing to stay busy during this pandemic? Let's share ideas on household projects as well as fun things you are doing. Dustin and I enjoy going for walks on good days and talking with the neighbors at a safe distance. With Dustin around, I do not need to carry a yardstick.

Have you checked in on any of your elderly friends and relatives? We have had a few people contact us to see if we are doing OK. It's the thought that counts. It was common practice when I was growing up, but not so much any more.

I understand that Ridgetop is open for takeout and also serving ice cream. I am not sure of hours or days, but I am anxious for a soft-serve cone. I will find out days and times to share with you next week.

Johnny Cash is quoted as saying, "Success is having to worry about every damn thing in the world, except money."
