Montville — A small plane went down Wednesday afternoon at Hidden Valley Camp, injuring the pilot and two camp staff members.

According to a press release from Sgt. Nick Oettinger of the Waldo County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a report of an aircraft down at 5:38 p.m. July 3.

All three people aboard the plane survived the crash, but were taken to Waldo County General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Oettinger said in the press release.

Montville Fire Department, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, controlled a small gas leak, Oettinger said.

The FAA and NTSB will be investigating to determine a cause for the crash.
