Town manager speaks about help for seniors

Feb 12, 2018

Stockton Springs — Stockton Springs Community Library's “Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Seniors at Home in Stockton Springs” speaker series presents Town Manager Courtney O’Donnell discussing services for seniors on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m.

All are welcome and encouraged to bring their questions.

This will be the third year of monthly talks at SSCL in response to the growing interest in “Aging in Place” a widespread movement geared toward helping senior citizens stay in their homes as long as possible as they age. With the growing number of elders, this movement has the potential to improve the quality of life for many seniors.

Thanks to the support of the Maine Charity Foundation Fund of the Maine Community Foundation, this year’s talks will continue through June.

Admission is free; light refreshments will be served. For more information, visit stocktonspringslibrary.org or phone 567-4147.
