Traveling folk band in Belfast house concert Dec. 8

Nov 26, 2019
The Rough & Tumble

Belfast — “Teeny-tiny traveling folk band” The Rough & Tumble (Scott Tyler and Mallory Graham) appears in a house concert at Belfast Cohousing & Ecovillage, 25 Village Road, on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m.

Honest-to-goodness Americana is alive and well and on the road. Constantly. That "being-on-the-road-ness" is part of what makes The Rough & Tumble's music so compelling. So does their obvious affection for each other and their equally obvious commitment to their craft. They list their influences as The Weepies, Shovels and Rope, and Brandi Carlile performed in a style that’s reminiscent of The Low Anthem, Civil Wars, or Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris.

Refreshments will be provided. Suggested donation at the door is $15 to $25. Email or visit for reservations and information.
