Waldo — A crash yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Routes 131 and 137 sent occupants of the two vehicles involved to the hospital. None appeared to have life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the collision, which occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 17.

A two-door Mini Cooper sedan, driven by Denise Blanchette, 56, of Searsport, was heading south on Route 131, Deputy Daniel Perez said today, when it collided with a Honda Pilot.

Christine Murdock, 38, of Montville was driving Honda along with three children passengers, ages 7, 10 and 11. Airbags deployed in the Pilot, which left the roadway and came to rest in a log yard just east of the intersection.

Belfast Ambulance and Waldo Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The Sheriff's Office said no charges were filed.
