United Midcoast Charities Now Accepting Grant Applications

United Midcoast Charities' open competitive annual grant application process is now open at https://unitedmidcoastcharities.org/. The online application will be available through March 16 at 5:00 p.m.

UMC requires all applicants to submit a current non-profit tax-exempt status 501(c)(3) or letter of agreement from a fiscal agent and the agent’s 501(c)(3) documentation.

All applicants must provide programming aimed at promoting the welfare of residents of Knox and Waldo counties within UMC’s focus areas of food, housing, health and safety, and economic security. UMC’s preference and history has been in funding projects or organizations whose main goal is to aid low income residents.

UMC provides grants to nonprofits for operational budgets and programming and does not fund capital projects or endowments.
