Unity stages 2nd annual Yuletide Tree Lighting event

Unity Area Business Exchange invites area children and adults to its second annual Unity Yuletide Tree Lighting Sunday, Dec. 3, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the corner of Depot and Main streets (next to the big moose). Various events will follow at the Unity College Center for the Performing Arts, 42 Depot St. All are welcome.

The event includes a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves, who will arrive on the Unity firetruck; lighting two trees; free photos with Santa; and Christmas caroling. There will be cookies, candy canes and hot chocolate inside the Performing Arts Center, a short walk from the tree lighting. Unity College Chorus will sing carols from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and then will have its annual performance at 7 p.m.
