I was reading that we have a new businesses in town. New community consignment shop now open in Unity called Fay Together, carries antiques, crafts, books, jewelry and Maine-made products from local artisans and crafters. Fay Together is located at 205 Depot St. Mary's Drive In is now


Congratulations to Erik Perkins and Katie Glessner who were married this weekend in Lincolnville on the beach. It rained hard, but no worries - we had umbrella’s, a tent and love. Over 100 people came to celebrate this awesome power couple. Love you guys!

Memorial Day Parade

The Annual Memorial Day Parade in Unity on School St. Inviting all Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, or other groups. Just show up, it starts on time. Contact Ron Cropley or Jerry Parker for info. The Ladies Aux. will be having candy for the youngsters. Please come and support our Veterans.

2nd Annual Ride for the Racks

Breakfast will be available before the ride. Ride starts at the Unity House of Pizza and ends at the End Zone in Waterville. Registration is $20 with a shirt. Come join us for a second year! Register before the ride and we will have your t-shirt for you! Waldo Organic Growers Program: Green Cemeteries and Natural Burial

Wednesday May 28 at 6 pm

Speakers are Alison Rector, a board member of Funeral Consumers Alliance, and Penelope Olson, a MOFGA volunteer working on a green cemetery project. Please bring a plate, silverware, and a dish to share for the potluck dinner at the MOFGA library. This program is free of charge.


Fiber Sorting & Grading Seminar

May 31 form 10am - 2pm

This course is an introductory session focused on fiber preparation for show or production. We will cover identification, skirting, sorting, grading, and how to determine what would be the best end-product for your specific fleece. We will also discuss color dying, spinning, roving and yarn. Feel free to bring your own fleeces or you can use ones provided. Light lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.
