Update: Lincolnville man charged with burglary, theft

Camden — A Lincolnville man was arrested by Camden Police on one count of felony burglary and four counts of theft, for allegedly stealing money from Megunticook Market.

Zachary Thomas, 32, of Lincolnville, was arrested on a warrant by Sgt. John Tooley Feb. 3. He was taken to the Knox County Jail and released on $250 cash bail.

Detective Curt Andrick said Thomas had knowledge of the store.

According to a papers filed at the Knox County courthouse, Thomas was hired to paint inside the market, in the evenings after it was closed. He is alleged to have stolen cash in the amount of $635 the first week of December, and the next week to have stolen a new safe containing $1,830.
