There will be a public hearing Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Town Office Complex. Agenda item: Land use ordinance re-wording to clarify road frontage.

Jackson Library will be hosting a game night on Saturday, March 2, at 6 p.m. Bring your favorite board games, such as backgammon, cribbage, chess or dominoes, or card games like Uno or Apples to Apples. Coffee and iced tea will be provided; bring your own snacks or maybe something to share. Come out for an evening of fun.

Town meeting season is just around the corner. Jackson's will be held on the third Saturday of March (16th) at 9:30 a.m.

As you may or may not know, the government shutdown caused February SNAP benefits to be released on Jan. 17, so many might be finding themselves short at this difficult time of year. The Jackson Food Pantry is open from 10 to 11 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month. If you have any questions, call 722-3205. Also, an emergency box of food is always stored in the Town Office. Brenda's hours over there are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, and noon to 5 p.m. on Thursdays, as well as the third Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to noon.
