UU Church launches 3rd annual Dinner Anywhere in the World raffle

Belfast — Despite the pandemic, the third annual ​Dinner Anywhere in the World​ Raffle sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast is back.

Tickets are $20 each and a maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold. Last year’s winner will be going to San Sebastian, Spain, as soon as travel allows. The 2019 winner went to Garzon, Uraguay. Entries close Dec. 27. This year’s winner will have these prize options:

A. For travel outside the USA: Two round-trip airline flights, dinner for two at a restaurant of his or her choice, and two nights' hotel accommodations for two. The destination and restaurant will be selected by the winner. UUCB will select the airline and accommodations in consultation with the winner.

B. For travel within the USA: Two round-trip airline flights, or other transportation of choice, two dinners for two at restaurants of his or her choice, and four nights' accommodations for two. The destination and restaurant will be selected by the winner. UUCB will select the airline and accommodations in consultation with the winner.

C. To stay within New England, contestants are asked to submit a proposal to UUCB. For example: rent a cottage on a lake for a week and host a lobster bake for your family reunion. Maximum prize value is $5,000 and up to $500 of any unspent prize funds will be used to purchase carbon offsets from carbonfund.org.
